1967 Chevelle Convertible – Just in and ready for summertime cruising is this drop dead gorgeous convertible.  This is a very rare, numbers matching, original red on red Malibu convertible. To start this car was recently and professionally restored and has been SS-cloned. She has the SS hood, trim and badges but is still a Malibu. It appears to have all the original sheet metal and is extremely solid, straight and clean throughout, including the floors, trunk, and frame. The Bolero Red paint is show quality and all the chrome and weatherstripping are new. The manual convertible top is also brand new, including the back plastic zip out window.  The interior is perfect. It has new carpet, door panels and seat covers, and the dash cluster has been redone as well. Everything works as it should including the speedo, the lights, signals, wipers, and heater. As mentioned before, the engine is a numbers matching 283 c.i. sbc that runs flawlessly. We installed a new polished aluminum intake with a new Holley Street Avenger carb. We also installed new ceramic-coated headers that sound great with the turbo mufflers that were also recently replaced. The engine appears to be rebuilt but we have no receipts to back it up. When we opened it up to replace the intake manifold and valve covers, it appeared to be fresh -- no dirt or sludge was detected and the rockers and pushrods looked new too. The trans is a crisp shifting TH-350 and the rear is the stock 10 bolt. This car really has no options like manual drum brakes and manual steering; however, everything has been replaced new and works perfectly. She rides and drives unbelievable tight and smooth, especially with the new polished 17'' American Racing Torq-Thrust II wheels and Riken low profile directional tires. This car is really something special. It has great looks, rides better than new and runs strong and best of all it's a “drop top” and they are getting very hard to find this nice. So don't hesitate on this one -- it's going to sell fast, especially at this more then fair price.
